The Concept & the Request
The owners of the apartment in Glyfada wanted to bring nature into their space—warm, earthy greens that create a sense of calm and freshness without weighing down the space. A palette inspired by vegetation, tailored to the proportions and lighting of each room.
Preparation & Priming
The 120-square-meter apartment consisted of a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. We began by thoroughly preparing all surfaces—filling, sanding, and priming with a special deep-penetrating primer. In the bathrooms and kitchen, we used mold-resistant paints with high moisture resistance.
Paint Application
For the main walls, shades of green in varying intensities were chosen for each room—ranging from the light sage green in the living room and bedrooms to the deeper forest green in the home office. The ceilings were left pure white to create a sense of height and brightness, while the window frames were painted a cream shade that harmonizes beautifully with all the shades of green.
Result
The result is a space that exudes calm—each room has its own personality, yet together they form a harmonious whole. The green is not overwhelming or darkening—on the contrary, it brings vitality and a sense of nature to an urban space that now feels like a breath of fresh air.
